When I was at BYU, the apartment complex I was living at banned bikinis. And this was a non-church owned complex a couple of miles away from the “Y”. And then they created a rule “no pool open on Sunday”.

Utah is a weird and scary place. I love the scenic rocks and skiing in Utah, but the people are just plain whacked.

My TBM brother got his vehicle stuck off the side of the road in Utah. He was puzzled when car after car drove by, nobody stopping to help.

He couldn’t understand it when a guy smoking a cigarette stopped to help him. A sinner (cigarette smoker) was his Good Samaritan. He was in a state of cognitive dissonance…

The people of Utah reflect 160+ years of cultural inbreeding. The closed society there has created a mass of social retards. And so you get unusual things going on there, like bikini bans.

The FLDS church is a microcosm of the larger LDS church, except the FLDS have a lot of physical (as well as cultural) inbreeding that goes on also.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I support the ban on Bikinis. Make em take them off at the door. That’s what I say.

Is this the same town that banned dancing in that documentary “Footloose?” 😉
